Why do I crochet dolls?

Many people ask why do I only make dolls.

Why dolls?

I love watching them come to life row by row or round by round or stitch by stitch. Creating a little face, making a hair style and designing a dress. Everything speaks to me as I create. I never like to make faces till the dolls are put together. This may sound crazy but they speak to me once I add eyes. They do not need a mouth to express themselves. Dolls make people smile each one shows the love that was put into making one.

Why not blankets?

The answer for me is simple I do not have the patience to make one.

My goals are to make some blankets this year 2014, but not making promises

Elephants

I feel like a hundred are stomping around my head. Two have come out one is in progress. I have a huge headache but pushing forward to get this one done.

Well as the subject states it is Tuesday. My plans for today...

1. Work on zombie (crochet)
2. Work on garbage truck (crochet)
3. 100 x's on cross stitch
4. Finish half doll. (crochet)

Monday

Hello fellow bloggers.

Today my plans are:

1. Work on Test Pattern by Melissa
2. Create another zombie
3. Cross Stitch at least another 100 little x's
4. Finish the half body

In between all that clean and cook.

Unhappy

Did not find the yarn I needed. Started working on 3 monkeys and ran out of color so went to two stores. One store was overpriced the other did not have the color :(. So now working on monkeys with a different yarn and trying not to judge the finale product before it is done.
